Cute… “Nope You Can’t Make Me Card” Whimsy Stamps

Spread the love

Welcome Everyone!!

Today, I have this cute and snarky “Nope You Can’t Make Me” card. I used the “NEW” Nope Stamp set from Whimsy Stamps that was released the beginning of January along with the “NEW” Slimline Envelope Dies.

So let’s get started.

First, I cut the Whimsy Stamps Pattern Paper down to 4″ x 5 1/4″. Then I adhere it to a piece of white card stock that is cut to 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″ to make a top folding card.

Next, I use the Slimline Envelope die (the one with the cut out hearts) to cut a piece of Blue card stock. I trim the paper down to 4″ wide by 4 1/4″ tall.

I adhere Blue card stock on top of the pattern paper.

I stamp the image in my Misti Stamping tool with Black Copic friendly Ink.

Next, I color in the image with copic markers. I used E00 (Cotton Pearl) for her skin tone. I used E25 (Caribe Cocoa) and E35 (Chamois Light Brown) for her hair and eye brows. Then I colored her glasses and shirt with copic marker B24 (Sky Blue)

Then, I take a rectangle die and cut the image out.

Then, I take the next size up rectangle and die cut a blue piece of card stock and adhere it to the back of the image.

I glue a piece of craft foam to the back of the image and adhere it to the front of the card.

I always love to add some kind of shine to my cards, so I decided to put some Studio Katia Crystal Clear Confetti on the card.

That completes my card for today. I hope you enjoyed it.

I have attached a list of the products I used to create this card if you are interested.
