Hello Crafty Friends….

Have you ever needed a quick Birthday, Sympathy, Thinking of you Card???? Well this card is pretty quick and easy to make. I used the Whimsy Stamps 6×6 Floral Impressions Paper Pack for the main part of the card.

First, I pick out one of the floral papers that I like. Then I trim it down to 3 7/8″ x 5 1/4″. I put a red mat border around it and adhere it a piece of card stock folded to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.

That’s pretty much the whole card right now. Then you pick any kind of sentiment that you want. I chose to use an encouragement for a sentiment. I stamped the “Do what makes you happy” sentiment onto a piece of white card stock and adhered it to the front of the card with foam tape to give it some dimension.

Now, you could leave the card like that and I think it looks beautiful. Or you can go the extra added step and add butterflies like I did.

I used the butterflies from the Whimsy Stamp Slimline Scalloped Pocket die. I chose 3 size and colored the butterflies.

I colored one butterfly with Copic marker Y17- Golden Yellow and blended it with Y14- Caramel. Another butterfly I colored with YR24- Pale Sepia and and blended it with a little Y17-Golden Yellow. For the final butterfly I used R29-Lipstick red and blended it with R32-Peach.

I adhered them to the front of the card with foam tape and that’s it!!!

That completes my card for today.
