Hello Everyone:
Today, I will be using the Whimsy Stamps Tin Games Up & Down Stamp set. I love this set. These little elephants are absolutely adorable. They are very versatile and can be used for many different occasions. Birthday, new babies, valentines, and many more.
I’m going to quickly go through how I put this card together. If you want more detailed instructions. Please watch my YouTube Video below.
I use the grass and cloud edger die to cut out a stencil for the clouds.
I cut a piece of white card stock to 8 ½” x 7″ and scored it at 3 ½”. I take some distress oxide ink and make the cloud background.
I use the slimline cloud die and cut out 2 of them from white card stock and then glue them together. Then, I glue the cloud die cut to the card base.
I stamped the elephant from the Tin Games Up & Down Stamp set and some balloons from the Gnomes Party Row stamp set and cut them out with my brothers scan n cut. But you could easily fussy cut these images.
I’m going to do some quick copic coloring for the elephant.
I copic colored the Elephant with the following colors.
Elephant Ears, Nose and Hearts – R11 Pale Cherry
Toe Nails – C1 Cool Grey
Elephant Body – C5 Cool Grey and C3 Cool grey.
Balloons – RV11 pink , Y02 Canary Yellow, and YG13 Chartreuse
I put foam tape on the back of the elephant and balloons and then adhered them to the card front. .
Using the Magical Birthday Wishes Stamp set, I stamp the sentiment Birthday Wish onto the clouds with black ink.
That completes my card for today.
