I made this Mother’s Day card for the hop. I used the Mom’s Layered Flower Stamp set and the New Wave Length Embossing Folder.

First, I stamped all of images with a black copic friendly ink. Then, I cut them out with my Brother’s Scan n cut. If you don’t have Scan n cut, you can easily fussy cut these flowers out.

Then, I colored them in. I used the following colors for the flowers but you can use any combination you like.

For the lighter colored flowers I used Rv13 Tender pink and R11 Pale cherry pink. For the medium shaded flowers I used RV09 Fuchsia and RV19 Red Violet. Then I added RV29 Crimson with RV19 Red Violet for the darker flowers.

I colored the leaves with G21 Lime Green and G24 Willow. For the center of the flowers I colored them with Y15 Cadmium Yellow.

Next, I embossed a piece of white card stock with the new Wave Length embossing folder. I left about 1 3/4″ hanging out of the embossing folder so I could stamp my sentiment on to it. Once I ran it through my die cut machine, I stamped the sentiment on to the bottom of the panel.

I trimmed the wave length panel down to the size I wanted and then used my Scrapbook adhesive dot tape runner to adhere it to a piece of pink card stock. to give it a border. Then, I glued the whole panel to a piece of white card stock down to 8 1/2″ x 7 and scored it at 3 1/2″.

I took a 1/8″ strip of black card stock and adhered it to the front of the card.

Using some water down black paint. I flicked my paint brush onto the wave length paper to give it a splattered look. I adhered all my flowers and leaves to the front of the card using the Scrapbook adhesive square foams.

I added some dark navy blue (they look almost black) gems onto the card.
