Hello everyone…… So glad you could join me..
Today, Whimsy Stamps had a new mini release today. They have some amazing new products. Here is a collage of inspiration from all of the Whimsy Stamps designers. I hope you enjoy them.
Here is the card I made using the New Whimsy Stamps Grunge Canvas Background and I paired it up with the Lattice A2 Die set along with Thanks word die.
This card was quick and easy to make.
- I rubbed a piece of black card stock cut to 5 ½” x 4 ¼” with my embossing powder bag. Then, I covered my Grunge Canvas Background stamp with Versmark Ink and then stamped the black card stock with the stamp.
- I covered the paper with Ranger gold embossing powder and then when my heat tool is good and hot I heat embossed the background.
- I cut a piece of white card stock cut to 11 ½” x 4 ¼” and I scored it at 5 ½” to make a top folding A2 size card.
- Using the Lattice A2 die I emboss the front of the A2 card. I do this by placing the cutting my down first, then my embossing mat, then I open the A2 card lengthwise and I turn the die long ways onto the white card stock. (This with only emboss the paper half way down but the bottom will be covered by the black card stock.) Then, I put the other cutting plate down and run it through my die cut machine.
- I tear the black card stock with the gold grunge embossing on it in half. So it has a torn look to it.
- I adhere a piece of white craft foam to it and adhere it to the bottom of the A2 card front.
- I die cut the thanks word die from gold card stock and the shadow from white card stock and then adhere them together.
- I adhere the thanks word to the front of the A2 card.
- Using gold string, I wrap it around the card a few times and then tie a bow.
- To finish off the card. I adhere gold sequins randomly on the card.
I have attached a list of the products I used to create this card if you are interested.
